A family company that grew into a crew
David started Electric O in 2014. He and Darla own the company, live in Weirton with their son Dylan, and built it to give something back to the town they love. David is a master electrician; Darla is a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Today it's two master electricians, a journeyman, two apprentices and a helper — seven people, four trucks.
(304) 670-8277The crew
7 people, 4 trucks, and Electric O on the door of every one. Most of the field crew have OSHA 30 training and a couple have OSHA 10, and a master electrician is there to advise when a job calls for it.
| Crew | What they do |
|---|---|
| 2 Master electricians | Licensed WV, OH & PA. One of them is Dave. |
| 1 Journeyman electrician | Runs jobs on his own truck. |
| 2 Apprentice electricians | In the trade, on the job, learning it right. |
| 1 Helper | Keeps the crew moving and the site clean. |
| 1 Office | Answers the phone, schedules, sends the paperwork. |
| Trucks | What they carry |
|---|---|
| 2 Service vans | Stocked for one-trip repairs. |
| 1 Pickup | Estimates, materials, small jobs. |
| 1 30-foot bucket truck | Poles, signs, exteriors, storm work. |
One name on every door
“Accountability is big for us,” Dave says. Two master electricians provide field leadership and oversight, and every truck says Electric O. Every job has to live up to it. If something isn't right, call the number on the door. Electric O answers for it.
How we work
When you call, someone answers. Someone comes out, takes a look, and tells you in plain language what's going on: what has to happen now, what can wait, and what it costs — before any work starts.
Then the crew does it right, pulls the permit when one is needed, schedules the inspection and cleans up.
That's true whether it's one outlet in a Weirton kitchen or a maintenance contract for a building in Steubenville. Residential and commercial customers get the same people and the same standard.
Built to scale
Electric O combines family-owned accountability with the workforce resources and industry relationships to support larger projects. When a job requires more manpower, those relationships expand access to trained, qualified electrical professionals while Electric O maintains supervision and standards.
